Terms of Trade – Fees and Charges
FEES AND CHARGES
UIT Limited charge for technical services and consultation. A minimum of ½ hour is charged per job. An onsite travel charge of $22.50 is charged for onsite visits to Whangarei CBD, Onerahi, Tikipunga, Kamo, Springs Flat, Maunu, Raumanga and Port Road Areas. Travel outside these areas is charged at 80c per/km plus $40 per hour. After hour call outs carry a minimum 2 hour call out fee. Discount rates are available for bulk hours, please contact us for more information. These rates are subject to change without notice.
ESTIMATES
In many matters it is not possible to give more than an approximate estimate of final costs because of the number of variable factors and outside agencies involved. We will however, discuss in advance the costs likely to be incurred in a particular transaction and we shall give you, at the outset, our best estimate of final cost. As matters progress, more accurate estimates should be possible.

To comply with the Act, initial disclosure is made as follows:

PAYMENT OF ACCOUNTS
Accounts are due for payment within 7 days of invoice date. Accounts may be paid by cash, cheque or direct credit. Property in the good shall not pass to the buyer until the buyer has discharged indebtedness to the seller for the purchase price of the goods.
INTEREST ON OVERDUE ACCOUNTS
Like many businesses we employ an overdraft facility incurring interest. For that reason, we may charge on interest at 14% per annum (such rate revisable from time to time) on all accounts for fees and charges remaining unpaid one month after the date of invoice.
PRIVACY ACT
In consideration of your allowing me/my company to services on credit I/we understand that UIT Limited will hold the information supplied by me/my company for the purpose of administering my/our account, providing credit references, and to enable UIT Limited to inform us of its services. I/we understand that these purposes may require my/our personal information to be provided to debt collection, repossession and credit reporting agencies and their clients.
I/We authorise any person/company to provide UIT Limited with such information as UIT Limited may require in response to UIT Limited enquiries.
I/We understand that I/we have the right to access and correct the personal information held by UIT Limited about us.
COLLECTION COSTS
I/We agree to indemnify you against all costs, whether commission, legal fees or otherwise, incurred by you or your duly authorised agents relating to the recovery of any monies, goods, or services that may be outstanding from time to time pursuant to the terms of this agreement.
PERSONAL GUARANTEE
I/We as director/s of this company personally guarantee this debt being incurred by my/our company. I/We agree to be bound as (a principal debtor) so that my/our liability under this Guarantee shall not be released or effected by any delay or other indulgence or concession which you may grant to the customer or any compromise which you may reach with the customer.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF TERMS
This form contains the terms upon which UIT Limited accepts your instructions for you.
Unless you say otherwise, UIT Limited will take your continued instructions as your acceptance of these terms.
Nevertheless, to avoid misunderstandings we ask you to sign and return the attached acknowledgement.
